Ambient Facade is a technical study of an imaginary three-dimensional architectural facade. The piece was produced by developing a 3D model of the design and analyzing how directional lighting would cast shadows across the surface. Those digital observations were then translated into physical form using colour values and gradients to heighten the illusion of depth.
